My name is Thais, I am from Cuba, and I am the person behind Dicción. I offer language services that will help your business grow.
I truly enjoy translating, especially those long projects that might require last-minute attention. It makes me feel like an artist receiving inspiration.
While performing a task, I get to research, compare, create and learn. It's a never-ending cycle, it's different each time, it makes me happy and I get to dig into a topic and understand those who work in that specific field. It involves feelings. Translating might be difficult for some, but to me, it is inspiring. Definitely a source of knowledge.
Despite all the advancements in technology, translation still requires human emotion and experience. If you don't believe me, ask Google Translate, or try a CAT Tool yourself. No matter how accurate they seem, it will never be as accurate as a person translating or interpreting feelings and emotions, and then putting them into words.
Translating gives me the opportunity to improve a situation, help others communicate better and make the world a better place.
That's why I love translating from English and Chinese into Spanish. These are considered to be the three most important languages in the world. Just imagine how much a person that understands these three languages can do for you. Imagine how much we can improve your business or how much I can help you make an impact in the world.

Prepared the Business plan for several departments of an organization.
Translated and Proofread several projects for the UNDP remotely.
Translated simultaneously for several organizations in Cuba, China, and Suriname.
Worked as a Manager and Administrative Assistant for a supermarket, making the business plan, work instructions, monitoring product movement, and much more.
Worked as an Executive Assistant for a Start-up production company.
Simultaneously interpreted from/into English and Spanish. (HR Meeting)
Prepared, researched, reached out and organized promotional materials for a commercial
fair in Italy.
Translated School diploma's, certificates, letter's and other official documents for a local translation company.
Translated "Northwest Atlantic Leatherback Regional Action Plan", Naturalization Letter's, Medical examinations results, and other documents remotely and received magnificent feedback from the proofreader, other members of the team and the Head of the Translation Company for being fast and accurate, guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
